"Wonderful, elegantly decorated restaurant. Very popular with locals and Italians. Excellent service and the fish dishes in particular were delicious. I recommend the pasta with fish sauce and the branzino! Seating also outside, best to make reservations. Bonus: on my way out, I saw a friendly cat lying on the marble floor to cool off (outside the dining room) named Fiorella."

"Wow ! What a surprise ! Down a very quiet street in Viareggio I wasn't so sure about our choice of restaurant but one second into the Bruschetta starter and we knew we were somewhere special! Sirloin steak followed ,medium rare, sliced on a bed of garnished rocket salad with crispy salted fries ( normally I hate them) and I was in shock... probably the best steak I've ever had- understated simplicity but full of flavour . And then to top it all off .. homemade vanilla gelato with a hot homemade strawberry sauce poured all over .. I was in heaven ! Local wine .. Traverse - Arneis go for it and everything so reasonably priced I can't wait to come back just once more.. a local treasure"

"We had a fantastic dinner tonight at this restaurant, which was recommended by our close by hotel. The service and food were exceptional. We're from the US, traveling throughout Italy. This was one of the best meals we've had so far. Warm welcome, great servic, and extraordinary food; also, very good wine selection. We loved it top to bottom."

"We came here on our honeymoon. The woman who answered the phone when we called to book yelled at us, and there was some confusion when we arrived. At first, the service felt unwelcoming, but we tried our best to communicate in Italian. Neither my husband nor I speak Italian - I can speak French, he knows some Spanish but I tried my best with the bits of Italian I do know, and used Google Translate for the rest, and the staff eventually warmed up. I think it’s really important to make an effort to speak as much Italian as possible. By the end of the night neither one us felt as uncomfortable anymore. The food was incredible — we had the spaghetti all’astice blu serviti in padella, and it was one of the best dishes of our trip. The restaurant is beautiful and very authentic. If you're a tourist, just be patient, respectful, and keep a positive attitude — it’s worth it for the food alone!"
